DURING PRODUCTION INSPECTION (DPI) |
During Production Inspection is often taken place when approximately 30% - 50% of total order quantity is produced. Depending on the product and the manufacturing process, the DPI may cover: |
Production status monitoring on-site |
Raw materials or key component validation |
Quantity and performance checks on completed products |
Inspection for appearance, construction, workmanship, color, measurements, and quantity |
Finished products and their packaging |
Verification of packaging material and details |
Benefits of a During Production Inspection: Production status is verified at this stage. Performing DPI permits confirmation that corrections made following an Initial Production Check (IPC) have been successful and allows another chance to apply corrective actions where required.

Please Note: Sample Collection can be performed at this stage for laboratory testing and examination. Product samples are selected at a factory (or other sampling location) by one of our inspectors for forwarding to a client or to a laboratory for testing. Sample Collection by our inspectors can ensure that the collected samples are the actual representative of the bulk production. Sample Collection may be performed as part of a product inspection or as a separate service. |
