What notice do I have to give DQC prior to inspection?
DQC will select an appropriate inspector with experience to suit the client and product. Before inspection, we will preview and study your documentation and/or approved samples in advance, so as to confirm any unclear things. In order to achieve this, we need to receive inspection bookings 3-4 working days before the requested inspection date.
DQC will also try to accommodate client request on much shorter notice, but the earlier booking time can ensure the inspection to be conducted on your requested date. |

I need a Final Random Inspection, How can I require my supplier the necessary production status? In order to protect your benefit and minimize your risk, the production status for Final Random Inspection requires the products to be 100% finished and at least 80% packed. Otherwise, some factory's maybe hide the defective products while inspection, and ship them after inspection. |

How fast can we get the report? DQC guarantees to issue the formal inspection report in next working day after the inspection finished. For urgent shipment, DQC can deliver the provisional inspection report 2 hours after inspection, providing the factory has fax machines or internet in working order.
DQC never promises to issue the formal inspection report on same day. This is because some characters or parameters could not affirmed during on-site inspection. For example, the color shading for textiles or garments must be evaluated in lightbox with standard light sources. But many factories have not standard lightbox, or have the lightbox with non-standard light sources; therefore the indeterminate samples must be taken back to DQC for further confirming. Usually it’s too late and not suitable for working while the inspector coming back from factory.
Several inspection companies declare they can issue the report on same day because they neglect the correct action. This is irresponsible. |

How much does it cost for your inspection? The inspection is charged according to the workload, which is decided by order quantity, product construction, product styles, number of colors, and so on. The workload is counted based on MAN-DAY rate (8 working hours including traveling).
The total service charge = man-day rate x man-days needed + out of pocket expenses (traveling cost).
Therefore, please contact us to obtain the Service Charge Rate, and we always recommend you provide necessary information of your order and factory address before we give the correct quotation. |

What happens if the goods arrive and we find that there are quality problems despite an inspection by DQC? The theory of the standard sampling plans has indicated that the ideal result for random inspection can 95% in maximum meet the real status of total lot. The inspection only takes a statistical sampling of the total lot and therefore DQC cannot guarantee 100% that the same goods were shipped, nor that the total lot size will meet the quality standards.
DQC always try its best to make the inspection result accord with the actual quality status, so as to assist our clients in making decisions whether to ship product or not. In fact, DQC has kept well reputation of its expertise and faith for the past years. However, the inspection result may be affected with falsification on purpose, or other factitious factors coming from the factory.
Should it be proven that DQC staff did not notice or document defects, or safety issues during the course of construction checks or inspections we will refund the value of the inspection, in cases of proven extreme oversight up to ten times this sum. |
